I like that I was able to manage the entire document workflow through the intuitive platform. The process begins with uploading or creating a template, sending it to the signees, tracking its progress, and receiving it back in my inbox.

SignWell has four subscription plans.

  • Free: Perfect for individuals that don’t send a lot of documents to be signed.

  • API & Enterprise: In addition to all the business features, it comes with API access, dedicated support, custom plans, and access to advanced features.

SignWell Features

SignWell is packed with features geared to make adding your e-signature or requesting someone e-sign a document as seamless as possible. All signatures are legally binding, just as if the document is being signed with a pen. The entire platform is secured using SSL encryption. The document is also encrypted and can only be viewed by someone with a special link that decrypts the file.

Create Reusable Templates

SignWell is compatible with many file types for creating a template. You can upload a PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and more to your dashboard. Then, open the file and add fields for signatures, dates, text boxes, checkboxes, and more. You can also assign different sections of the document to different signees or add multiple signees to a page.

If you don’t have a basic template, SignWell has free templates that cover a wide range of industries. You can download them, customize the text for your needs, and add the fields you want to be filled in.

The only disadvantage of SignWell is that you can’t edit the text of a template on the platform. The only customization options are adding different fields, which you can drag and drop anywhere on the document.

Send Documents to be Signed

After creating a document, you can send it to your intended recipients directly through the SignWell platform. The advantage of using the platform instead of downloading and sending from your email is that SignWell can track the file and send reminders if it hasn’t been opened.

One of the many ways that SignWell simplifies the process is by creating a template link. Then, you can just copy the link and share it with anyone who needs to sign the document.

SignWell sends real-time notifications to keep you updated on the document’s status. It sends email updates when the document has been opened and another update when it is signed.

You can set SignWell to send a reminder every 3, 6, or 10 days if a document hasn’t been signed.

Draw or Upload Your Signature

You can use SignWell to sign online documents that you receive. The first step is to create your online signature. You can type it in the field, draw it with a mouse, finger, or stylus, or upload a picture.
