Super Repo No Longer Works With Kodi 17.6 — Here Are 3 Alternatives

Super repo has been one of the largest Kodi repositories for the past few years. One thing that makes SuperRepo so popular is the fact that it houses many Kodi add-ons within one interface.

However, as of now, the repository no longer works with Kodi Krypton 17.6. If you use this version of Kodi, you need to find some Super Repo alternatives, and we’ll help you do that.

There are tons of repos out that that offer quality Kodi add-ons, but installing all of them is near impossible. Some aren’t even as safe as one might think, and so you should not just install any.

In this guide, we’ve compiled a list of the three best Super repo alternatives which will also give you several of the best Kodi add-ons.

We’ll also explain how to install these repos and their addons.

What are Kodi Repositories?

Repositories are files that host various Kodi add-ons. You can think of them as an app store that can be used to install multiple apps.

Though you can still install an add-on without a repository, they make it easier by grouping available options together. They also make sure that the add-on can automatically update when possible.

Before you Install a Repository

Kodi has received some negative attention because people use third-party Kodi add-ons to access copyrighted content illegally. While Kodi in itself is entirely legal, you should understand that the use of third-party repositories and add-ons blurs the lines.

ISPs, governments, web hosts, copyright trolls, and hackers can log your online activity using your IP address and location. Thousands of Kodi users have ended up receiving DMCA notices, and millions of others have their connections throttled.

To avoid this, we highly advise that you use a reliable VPN for Kodi. A VPN like ExpressVPN encrypts your traffic with military-grade standards and provides you with a new online identity through proxy servers.

While connected, no one can see your activities, and no third-party can trace your identity since ExpressVPN doesn’t keep any logs.
