While ItsHidden VPN is a decent VPN, you can get better quality VPNs at an affordable price. Surfshark, for example, offers premium VPN features for a super low monthly fee — so you don’t have to settle for less.
It didn’t take us much time to build a comprehensive overview about itshidden VPN. This is due to that, sadly, there’s not much to say about it. O
n its website, it states that it started operating back in 2008 but, to be honest, we highly doubt it as its features are minimal. Even the network of servers is limited to 3 locations around the world.
The encryption used to secure this network is up to 128 bits, which, even though is a strong encryption, it’s not the most advanced. The security protocols supported are limited to OpenVPN and PPTP. Even PPTP is hardly ever used anymore by VPN providers as it has proven to be unreliable. On the bright side, itshidden VPN doesn’t keep any logs of its users’ online activities to protect their privacy. On the other hand, it lacks a kill switch, which means that if for any reason, the VPN connection drops, the users’ online privacy would be at risk.
We don’t want to be too harsh, but itshidden VPN has a very long way to go and requires significant improvements to at least become a reliable VPN.

We were looking for any strong points to try and form a positive impression about itshidden VPN but sadly we couldn’t find anything.
First of all, it doesn’t have its own app so, whatever operating system you’re using you’d have to set up the connection manually. Even if you want to switch between servers, you’ll have to reconfigure the whole setup you created.
The website has a tutorial on how to set up the connection on Windows but doesn’t have any other tutorials for other operating systems so you’ll need to search for it yourself. The signing up process is easy but moving forward from there, it’s all complications.
Before you make a final decision, we highly recommend you check out some alternative VPNs which may offer better features and prices.
