ZorroVPN is definitely an advanced VPN service — this sentiment is reflected in the ease-of-use department, but not in the best of ways.
What do we mean?
In short, ZorroVPN doesn’t have custom clients for any of its supported platforms. Windows users will have no choice but to set the VPN up manually, using the OpenVPN GUI or Viscosity — the latter can be used for OS X as well, with Tunnelblick being the alternative.
Our experience with the Windows configuration was challenging, but made easy thanks to the detailed tutorials on ZorroVPN’s website (screenshots included).
If you have any trouble with getting things running, this provider also offers remote assistance via TeamViewer, so you’ll have nothing to worry about even if it’s your first time doing a manual VPN setup.
