TapVPN helps Android users stay safe online and access geo-blocked content. It’s exclusively for Android and can be downloaded and installed from Google Play Store.
Its platform limitation is a huge drawback, but the plus point is that it’s free. So if you’re looking for a quick and easy solution to keep you safe when you surf the web on your Android, TapVPN can be your favorite choice.
They offer 6GB free data each month. It’s a great free service for light users. In the free version, you’ll see ads in between. If you want an ad-free experience, you can upgrade to the premium version.
The premium version offers unlimited bandwidth, and you can pay through the Google Play store wallet. With the Premium connection, you’ll get faster speeds, additional servers, unlimited bandwidth, and an ad-free experience.
The app is pretty simple to use. However, the ads can get annoying. When you open the app, it shows a slider on the top that says Not Connected. Slide it to the right to get connected to the VPN.
There are 17 servers in the free version, and you can select one and connect to it.
While it’s a free VPN and that might be a great thing for some users, there’s always the issue of privacy when it comes to free services, as is with TapVPN. Its Privacy Policy states that they collect user data and share it with third parties. This is a huge red flag.
If you’re a privacy conscious individual, it’s best to look for other options instead of TapVPN.

TapVPN is available only on Android. It’s pretty easy to install and use. Just visit the Google Play store and download the app.
Click on the gear icon, and you can see the server list. Pick any server and connect to it. There are regular as well as fast servers. You’ll see a thunderbolt icon in front of some servers, these servers offer faster speeds.
User experience is a bit frustrating because there are too many ads. However, most free VPNs throw ads in free versions to earn money.
There is no way to contact customer care. You can mail them at apps@mobbo.com, but there is no guarantee that they will reply.
Although they offer a premium version that eliminates advertisements and claims to provide an enhanced user experience, it’s important to note that customer service support is not available. Users who opt for the premium service typically expect prompt and helpful customer assistance, which unfortunately is lacking in this case.
