PerfectVPN supports many protocol choices including PPTP, L2TP, and OpenVPN. If you want complete protection, you should go for OpenVPN, which is the safest VPN protocol.
The encryption can go up to 128-bit, depending on your security and speed requirements. While high encryption standards and OpenVPN will make you more secure, they will have a negative impact on your speed.
For most plans, there’s a cap of 30GB bandwidth per month. Since 30GB isn’t much, it’s best to get their unlimited plan. They have a one-hour free trial, and you’ll need to contact them for it.
While the website claims a 7-day money back guarantee, the refund policy clearly states that the refund request should be made within 4 days. Also, the refund will be processed only if the VPN doesn’t work at all. So, if you’re unhappy with the speeds or other connection issues, there’s nothing much you can do about it.
This VPN is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. You’ll need to configure it manually, but they have screenshots to help with the installation.
They have more than 80 IPs in 23 countries, which makes it a fairly decent sized network. While they have the Netflix logo on their home page that might make you feel they can unblock Netflix, they actually can’t. So, if you want a VPN for Netflix, this one isn’t it.
